London Day 2

Woke up at 7am, getting dressed for a fruitful day. I planned the itinery for today. Let's see how I did!

Decided to have breakfast at our hotel. Both of us had the Irish breakfast. It costs us 10 pounds each! Staff were friendly though. And the waitress got shocked by Joyce's nails. Commented that it looked very nice! (I was crossing my fingers that she would give us a discount).

Ah this is how our hotel looks like from the outside. Not too shabby.

According to my plan, we were supposed to go to 3 places. Hyde park, the museum of natural history and Harrods. According to my guidebook and judgement, it was within walking distance.
So we walked.

And walked.

And walked.

And walked. (One of many churches along the residential area)

And walked. (Some ducks bathing on the river).

For about 2 hours. Okay okay, I got lost. But we managed to find the underground and decided that it was easier that way. Got a pair of Oyster cards.

Joyce was happy that she doesn't need to walk anymore.

We reached Knightsbridge station finally and made our way to the Albert Hall museum which we explored.

After which we went to the museum of Natural History. Here's a shot from the outside.

Looks like a scene from harry potter eh? Now some randome pictures inside. Basically very big, very grand, and plenty of students in it learning.

Of course, the star of the museum are the dinosaur bones. Actual dinosaur bones that were dug up from the ground. These things were huge!

Thereafter, we went to London's famous Harrod's shopping arcade. It's like the orchard ion of singapore. Gigantic and very easy to get lost in. Plenty of shopping to do (oh no.). Joyce bought these gloves that exposed her nails. The lady serving us commented that her nails are very nice. (again?!)
Some shots on the outside stretch of road.

Only have one shot on the inside. Of course, Joyce told me, she's very excited suddenly (she doesn't know why she's excited) I thought to myself, (Ya right.)

Anyway after which we left Harrod's at 5pm. Guess how the sky looked like at 5pm...

Okay, tired. That should be all for me. Anyway while we were eating our dinner at macdonalds, this lady sitting next to us kept staring at joyce nails again. (The end.)
